S’mae, I’m Jason….

That’s me above with my lovely lady and our rescued elephant Roma. Last year we were lucky enough to travel to the fantastic island of Bali and visit an elephant sanctuary for rescued elephants from the neighboring island of Sumatra. Wow, what a fantastic experience, a beautiful place, with beautiful people. 

When I'm not in the jungle looking after my elephant,  I work as a wedding and lifestyle photographer in the heart of South Wales, Cardiff. My relaxed style of photography is about 'capturing the inner you', the funny, crazy, fun, genuine and loving, through documenting naturally unfolding moments. I embrace dark as well as light, blur, grain and anything that helps me narrate your story in a creative way.

My background is art based, mainly Glass & Fine Art related, having attended the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art & Design.  And photography has always been a foundation for my work. The direction of my work is now mainly reportage, revealing your personality and encapsulating your day through images you can cherish forever. 

Behind the camera I have a keen love for travelling, surfing, swimming - basically anything that takes me outdoors! My passion for travel has led to a taste for Asian cuisine and I now spend most evenings cooking, top of the list being the famous Thai Green curry and Tom Yum soup…nom nom. 

Of all the things that I enjoy doing, however, taking photographs is my first love. Capturing your special moments and witnessing your unique connection is most important to me.
