Reportage Wedding Photography London

MY STYLE

I wouldn't class myself as just a wedding photographer, but more of an artist who happens to LOVE photography. And wedding photography found me through one of many creative paths. I love to shoot lifestyle, travel, street, portraits, architecture, basically anything, and I think all these different subject areas have totally influenced the way I now approach and shoot weddings.  Taking pictures of people is really interesting, as every face tells a story and that’s what your day is about….storytelling. Shooting a day of fun, laughter and emotion is such a great time for me, it gives me the chance to get creative and capture all of your wonderful personalities.

UNPOSED NATURAL MOMENTS

I aim to capture your wedding day with as little intrusion as possible and blend into the scene. Your day is your day and the less I'm involved, the better. I work completely un-staged and don't set-up any shots. You wont catch me asking you or your guests to 'run & jump in the air', that's just not me.  Every moment is documented as they unfold, totally natural, creating images both creative and interesting. I use very little to no flash equipment and mainly rely on available light.

Couple time is very relaxed and not the scary side of a wedding that most perceive it to be. The process is really natural and I let the available light and location guide us through the process. I want you to be YOU, so your personalities shine through in your images. The most I will do is direct you to the best spot. Its a chance for you to breathe, laugh, joke and reflect on the day. This will probably last for about 10-15 minutes, possibly longer depending on the location.

FAMILY SHOTS

I am happy to do some family shots, but I like to keep these to a minimum, as things can get a bit crazy and I want you to get back to your guests as quickly as possible. These will all be completely natural and relaxed, with little to no direction.

DISCO DISCO

It has been know in the past for people to call me "the dancing photographer" but I am sorry to say that I have hung those shoes up, not completely, but I'll leave the dancing to you on this occasion. Its your time to shine!

This is the only time that you will see me with a flashgun as all my images throughout the day are created using ambient light. My setup is simple and unobtrusive, allowing me to capture the madness of the dance floor in all its glory. Some of the best shots come from the floor when people forget their inhibitions.
