We recently had our engagement photos taken in Cardiff by Jason, and we couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the results! From the very beginning, he made us very feel comfortable and relaxed, which was a massive relief since we were a little nervous to be in front of the camera at first. Jason has an incredible eye for lighting, composition, and capturing genuine emotion. Every photo felt natural and beautifully reflected who we are as a couple. The session itself was so much fun, Jason kept the atmosphere light and easygoing, and his friendly personality made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. He was also incredibly professional and organised, from our first message to the delivery of the final photos. The finished images were absolutely stunning and we’ve already began putting them up around the house and sharing with friends and family. If you’re looking for a talented, creative, and down-to-earth photographer for your engagement shoot (or any special occasion), we can’t recommend Jason enough!

I’m all about documentary wedding photography — capturing the real moments, the big emotions, the laughter and all the crazy chaotic bits in between.

Your wedding isn’t just another wedding to me. It’s your story, your people, and a day you’ll want to remember for the rest of your lives. My job is to help you enjoy every minute, knowing I’m there to capture it all - from the big, emotional moments to the little things that might otherwise pass you by. All told through natural, vibrant colour and timeless black and white.

I’ll be there when you need me, but just as happy to blend into the background and let things unfold naturally. Whatever the day brings, you can count on me to be there, adapt when things don’t go to plan, and look after your family and friends as if they were my own. I love shooting engagement sessions in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Getting to meet couples from across South Wales (and beyond) and capturing this part of your story in my own, creative style is one of the best parts of what I do. Whether you call it an engagement shoot, a pre-wedding session, or something else entirely — I’d love to hear from you if you’re thinking about planning one.

What makes these sessions so special for me is how easygoing they feel. There’s no rush, no timeline to stick to, and no pressure. It’s just the two of you, taking a bit of time out to be yourselves — to wander, chat, laugh, and enjoy the moment together. Cardiff is a great backdrop for that too, whether you’re drawn to the character of Cardiff Castle, the open space of Bute Park, the feel of Cardiff Bay, or even the energy of the city streets.

We reached out to Jason because me and my partner recently got engaged and we were looking for a photographer to take our engagement photos. We met in Cardiff and Jason was easy to work with. So lucky to have found Jason to do our wedding photography in Bridgend 2026!! He is fantastic at giving information about the day, discussing individual needs and your unique vision of the day. He is open minded and flexible in working around what you want and is great at suggesting ideas from his past experiences, as well as being flexible in working around your budget and getting the most for your money. We had an engagement shoot in a location that was special to us, as Jason suggested and he is genuinely amazing at directing you for poses or candid photographs. Very friendly, professional and easy to talk to which is going to make the wedding day a lot more enjoyable and stress free!
