The start of summer brought beautiful weather, relaxed vibes and a wonderfully intimate celebration for Charlotte and Iolo at Court Colman Hotel.

It was a small wedding, but it certainly wasn't short on personality. From their non-traditional outfits to the relaxed atmosphere throughout the day, everything felt completely true to them. There was no sense of trying to follow a traditional wedding formula — just two people surrounded by the people they love, celebrating their marriage in their own way.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was their handfasting ceremony, an ancient Celtic wedding ritual where a couple's hands are symbolically bound together with cords. It was a beautiful and personal addition to the ceremony, giving the day a lovely connection to Celtic tradition while still feeling very much their own.

And then there was the weather. The sun came out in spectacular fashion, bringing beautiful warm light to the grounds of Court Colman and making it the perfect backdrop for photographs throughout the day.

With a smaller guest list, there was plenty of time for the things that matter most - spending time together, laughing with friends and family, and simply enjoying the day without feeling rushed.

From the ceremony and handfasting to the celebrations afterwards, Charlotte and Iolo's wedding was a brilliant reminder that your wedding doesn't need to follow a traditional template. It just needs to feel like you.
